My family and I really enjoyed spending time at the Hideaway House. It was very peaceful and the home was very welcoming. The host was very responsive and always make sure that we had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay. It was a very short walk to the beach, with the hammocks being a plus for a little time to relax afterwards. We would most definitely come back and stay for a little longer so that we could have time to kayak and explore the island more!

Great get away place for a relaxing trip. I planned a girls trip and we all had a great time. We did go during the beginning of the year so we got to enjoy a nice winter snow while we were there. The host was very quick with communication if we had questions and they gave great recommendations for local spots! The drive up the Airbnb was a little tricky cause they had a temporary route you had to follow but the host gave pretty clear directions and helped us get the house smoothly!

I would 100% recommend this host to anyone. This was our first time ever trying Airbnb and maari went above and beyond. Unfortunate weather events extended to it stay and the hosts took amazing care of me am my wife will absolutely be returning this summer!

Maari is an exceptional host! She responds immediately and her home is beautifully and thoroughly appointed. We had everything we needed including a super clean kitchen stocked with spices and cooking tools in wonderfulworking order; laundry area with supplies; lovely spacious bathrooms; comfy beds; cozy hangout areas - even a garage! Loved the marsh view and nice short walk to the beach. We’ll be staying at Maari’s again.

We had a wonderful time at this Oak Island home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, with beautiful marsh views and an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped, and we appreciated the thoughtful extras like beach gear and outdoor spaces to relax.
We did have a small A/C issue, but the host responded very quickly and handled it right away, which we really appreciated. One small note (just personal preference): the king bed is on the firmer side.
Overall, great location, great communication, and we would absolutely stay here again!

The house was beautiful and exactly as described. It was super clean and the Christmas decor throughout the house was a wonderful touch. The host was very friendly and responsive. Everything was perfect for our weekend snowboarding getaway!
